Our Story

Born From Lived Experience

Timelist Group was not founded in a boardroom. It was built from inside the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation — by people who lived the reentry experience and chose to turn it into service.

2007

Founded Inside CDCR

Timelist Group began as a peer-led initiative inside the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation — creating a support framework where people inside could prepare for what came next.

2013

501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status

Recognized as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the state of California, enabling us to receive tax-deductible donations and expand our reach beyond prison walls.

2017

Established in Lancaster, CA

Impact Stories

Voices From Our Programs

Real words from the people whose lives are changing — because of donors like you.

"I spent years thinking no employer would ever give me a chance. Timelist Group helped me get certified and practice for interviews, and I landed a steady job three months after getting home. I finally feel like I have a future to build toward."

Marcus
Workforce Development

"Coming home after a long stretch is disorienting in ways that are hard to explain. What I needed most was people who actually knew my name. Timelist Group showed up consistently — calls, check-ins, accountability — and that changed my trajectory."

D
Darnell
Successful Reentry

"I thought my window for education had closed. Timelist Group connected me with a GED program and sat with me through the application process. I passed my test six months after getting out. That credential opened doors I didn't know still existed for me."

Why Give

Every dollar helps someone rebuild their life.

The transition from incarceration back to community is one of the hardest journeys a person can face. Without support, the odds stack against them. With a community behind them, outcomes change.

"I came home with nothing but a bus ticket. Timelist Group was the first place that made me feel like I wasn't starting from zero."
